ACI frequently works with the USCG to review and assess the locations selected for the placement of infrastructure across and near waterways. Once a location is selected, ACI is often the firm chosen to complete the Cultural Resource Assessment Survey (CRAS) for the final location.

The CRAS for the Fort Hamer Bridge in Manatee County, Florida was one such project, in which ACI initially evaluated the selected location for the bridge and then partnered with the USCG to address concerns raised during the tribal consultation process through the documentation of the history of Fort Hamer, and the Seminole Indian deportation during the Second Seminole War.
